Nebraska Cancer Specialists is the regional leader in cancer diagnosis, treatment, and research. We are seeking full-time, patient-focused individuals for our scheduling department. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments, labs, therapies, scans, and referrals.

Job Functions Include:

1. Check in patients as they arrive for their appointments.
2. Schedule appointments by reviewing providers’ orders, including scans, consults, tests, and procedures, either with our office or other medical facilities.
3. Welcome and greet patients, families, and visitors to the clinic in a helpful and friendly manner.
4. Handle phone calls in a timely manner, provide detailed messages, and perform other related duties.

Requirements:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in customer service, patient scheduling, reception, secretary work, electronic medical records, and managing multi-line phones.
3. Ability to work at other locations as needed and attend meetings.
