Job summary

Chicago ENT in Skokie, IL is seeking a Front Office Patient Care Coordinator to greet patients, register them, verify demographics and insurance, collect copays and balances, and ensure all forms are completed and accurately entered into the EMR.

The role acts as the operational hub, coordinating with providers and staff to maintain smooth patient flow, manage referrals, reminders, scheduling, and cross-train for Call Center or Sleep Dispensing as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to use an EMR and navigate Windows environments.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, writing, and comprehension).
• Typing at least 30 words per minute with 90% accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Collect copayments and balances.
• Check in/out patients and schedule follow-ups.
• Review provider schedules and ensure accuracy.
• Manage front desk queues in EMR and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to maintain patient flow.
• Cross-train in Call Center or Sleep Dispensing as needed.
