SERC Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator I to join our Kansas City, MO clinic (Tiffany Springs). This entry-level role focuses on patient intake, front-office operations, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced physical therapy setting.

The PCC-I will work with the Clinic Director to implement efficient clinic procedures, support practice management, and uphold the mission and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and staff.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively; work with little supervision.
• Strong time management and presentation skills within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect all money due at the time of service.
• Convert referrals into evaluations.
• Schedule patient visits.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Create an inviting clinic atmosphere.
• Make welcome calls and influence arrival rate by ensuring a great patient experience.
• Manage schedule efficiently and handle document routing.
• Oversee non-clinical documentation and deposits.
• Monitor caseload, discharge candidates, progress notes, and insurance reporting.
• Monitor clinic inventory and participate in training and compliance.
