Job summary

Trinity Rehab is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for our outpatient physical therapy clinic in New Jersey. You will greet patients, check them in at the kiosk, schedule appointments, and collect co-pays as part of a friendly, organized front desk team.

Approximately 30 hours per week, on-site, with shifts that may include mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. Prior reception or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Patient Care Coordinator to support the front desk operations of our outpatient physical therapy clinic.

This is a patient-facing position focused primarily on welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, collecting co-payments, assisting patients with the check-in kiosk, and completing basic administrative tasks. This position does not involve insurance verification, billing, or extensive phone responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Check patients in and assist them with the clinic’s check-in kiosk
• Provide additional assistance to new patients completing the check-in process
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Collect co-payments and provide receipts when needed
• Make copies of identification cards, insurance cards, and patient paperwork
• Scan, copy, and organize basic documents
• Answer or direct occasional basic patient questions
• Notify the appropriate team member when a patient requires additional assistance
• Keep the front desk and reception area neat and organized
• Complete other basic front desk duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule
