Modern Dental Smiles in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a Patient Care & Treatment Coordinator to guide patients from consultation to treatment completion. In this role you will present treatment plans, explain billing, and coordinate scheduling in a team-friendly, doctor-owned setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of front office or patient coordination experience in a dental setting.
• Experience explaining insurance coverage and billing details clearly to patients.
• Experience presenting treatment estimates and discussing payment arrangements.
• Familiarity with dental terminology across general, cosmetic, implant, or orthodontic care.

Responsibilities

• Treatment Presentation: Review doctor-recommended treatment plans with patients, explaining procedure steps and answering questions with clarity and empathy.
• Ledger & Billing Education: Walk patients through their account ledger, explaining billing breakdowns, insurance coverage details, and out-of-pocket balances so they feel completely confident in their financial care plan.
• Financial Guidance: Walk patients through fee estimates, expected insurance benefits, and flexible payment arrangements.
• Scheduling & Care Follow-Up: Coordinate appointment scheduling for recommended care and proactively follow up on pending treatment plans to help keep patient care on track.
• Patient Advocacy: Serve as a reassuring guide for patients who may feel hesitant or anxious about moving forward with their care.
• Clinical Collaboration: Partner with doctors, hygienists, and front desk staff to ensure daily schedules flow smoothly and records stay updated.
