Job summary

HCA Healthcare's CareNow Saint Augustine clinic is seeking a Patient Care Representative who will check-in patients, answer phones, verify insurance, and manage paperwork with accuracy. You will support the patient care team and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every visitor.

The role requires strong customer service, the ability to use multiple computer programs, and completing BLS certification within 30 days of start. Prior clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner and follow Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer phone calls and provide information or refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance timely and accurately.
• Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and collect necessary insurance/demographic information.
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift; ensure all payments are accounted for.
