US Fertility in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support fertility patients and families. The role involves clinical care support, counseling, and coordinating with physicians and staff.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Roanoke, Virginia.

• Schedule:Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Compensation:$22 to $23 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, thePatient Care Coordinatorwill:

• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients
• Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
• Provide pre and post op education
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' families
• Work independently to assure the program goals are achieved
• Support and promote excellence in customer service

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is required
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
