Job summary

US Fertility in Columbia, MD seeks a Patient Care Coordinator to join Shady Grove Fertility. This full-time role offers Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, and a $22–$25/hour compensation, commensurate with experience.

You will support fertility patients with clinical care, counseling, and education, fostering compassionate care and teamwork within a national network. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and healthcare experience, excellent communication skills, and comfort with data

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility inColumbia, Maryland.

• Schedule:Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Compensation:$22 to $25 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, thePatient Care Coordinatorwill:

• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients
• Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
• Provide pre and post op education
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' families
• Work independently to assure the program goals are achieved
• Support and promote excellence in customer service

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is required
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
