Results Physiotherapy Patient Care Coordinator Job Description

Results Physiotherapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator in Cordova, TN.

Position Overview:

A Patient Care Coordinator is an entry-level office role responsible for maintaining smooth daily clinic operations and providing excellent customer service. The role involves multitasking across various computer programs and learning new skills continually.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greeting patients warmly upon entry.
  2. Scheduling new referrals via fax or phone.
  3. Verifying insurance coverage.
  4. Collecting patient payments.
  5. Organizing the front office workspace.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

The PCC-I supports clinic growth by executing practice management and patient intake processes, collaborating with the Clinic Director, and upholding the company's mission and values.

Core Responsibilities include:

  1. Collecting payments at the time of service.
  2. Converting referrals into evaluations.
  3. Scheduling patient visits.
  4. Providing excellent customer service.
  5. Creating a welcoming clinic environment.
  6. Making welcome calls and managing patient arrival experiences.
  7. Managing schedules, documentation, deposits, caseload, and inventory.
  8. Attending required training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Effective time management and presentation skills as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily indoor environment, sedentary work.
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with possible evening/weekend events.
  • Must be able to sit, communicate, operate office equipment, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to view screens and respond appropriately in various situations.
