Qualifications

• GED or HiSET required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required (American Heart Association).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for the unit and coordinate information flow.
• Prepare and file patient records and discharge documentation per protocol.
• Arrange transportation and coordinate transfers to other facilities.
• Coordinate communications with lab, radiology and other departments as needed.
• Maintain timely, courteous communication with staff and patients' families.
