Responsibilities

• Provides primary administrative support for a physician’s clinic and patients.
• Manages the provider’s schedule (clinic and OR) to optimize efficiency and customer service.
• Handles patient calls, obtains information, and follows up as needed.
• Coordinates pre-authorization, referrals, and scheduling of procedures and tests.
• Maintains patient charts and updates records before visits.
• Liaises with hospital staff and insurance to obtain necessary documentation.
• Assists in training and guiding junior staff.
