Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and handles check-in/check-out; schedules appointments.
• Maintains lobby organization and cleanliness.
• Manages PCP/Specialist schedules and prioritizes top patients every 13 days.
• Uses computer systems to update patient info, print forms, respond to emails and generate packets.
• Verifies insurance and collects copays for services.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and ensures comfort.
