Job summary

MedStar Health in Baltimore seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the patient-centered care team. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, assist with ADLs, collect specimens and perform EKGs, and document outcomes in the health record.

Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy, assisting with routine procedures, and supporting discharge and transport needs as required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant program.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Collect specimens and obtain EKGs as directed.
• Document vital signs and notify RN of changes.
• Support patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
• Transport patients and assist with examinations and procedures.
