UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine seeks a Clinical Support Assistant to join a fast-paced patient care team. The role bridges providers, patients, and staff to ensure smooth check-in, documentation, and care coordination.

The ideal candidate will manage patient intake, scheduling, and medical record preparation with accuracy and compassion, contributing to an exceptional patient experience across multiple office locations in Western New York.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; medical background a plus.
• Experience with EMR systems is preferred.
• Certification in medical assisting or related healthcare education is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and prepare patients for appointments; verify demographics and medical history.
• Complete intake, document in EMR, and ensure accurate chart notes.
• Check-out patients, explain instructions and follow-up plans to ensure understanding.
• Prepare referrals, orders, prescriptions, and other provider documentation as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and handle patient forms and policies.
