Bluegrass Orthopaedics is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support Providers in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic. The role suits those with clinical backgrounds in medical assisting, athletic training, or orthopedic techs, offering hands-on patient care in a busy setting.

You will room patients, obtain vitals and history, assist with procedures, process orders, e-prescribe, and ensure accurate EMR documentation.

Competenze

• Clinical background in medical assisting, athletic training, or orthopedics.
• Experience rooming patients, taking vitals, and collecting medical history.
• Experience assisting with orthopedic procedures and post-operative care.
• Accurate documentation in the EMR system is essential.

Mansioni

• Room patients and obtain vitals, medical history, and chief complaints.
• Assist Providers with clinical procedures, including suture/staple removal, bandaging, and post-operative care.
• Create and process orders, work status forms, and other clinical documentation.
• E-scribe medications and provide patient instructions.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Manage daily administrative tasks such as returning calls, voicemails, and processing faxes.
• Provide coverage across departments to support clinic operations.
