Job summary

4100 Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a patient care assistant to support licensed staff in daily living activities, vital signs, and basic clinical tasks. You will help with patient feeding, documentation in the EHR, and maintaining clean, stocked rooms.

This role requires strong communication with the care team and patients. Training in BLS and relevant certifications is preferred; experience in patient care or elder care is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Massachusetts EMT Paramedic preferred.
• LNA - New Hampshire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Support RNs and physicians during exams and treatments.
• Document vitals, intake/output, and medications in the EHR.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and patient nutrition.
• Maintain stocked, clean patient rooms and available equipment.
