Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Ability to multitask under pressure and in crisis situations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
• Typing skills and computer experience required.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care-related duties and clinical functions as assigned, including vital signs, EKGs, and assisting with ambulation.
• Ensure patient rooms are stocked, equipped, and clean.
• Perform specimen collection and document information.
• Operate and maintain equipment; report malfunctions.
• Document patient information such as height, weight, intake/output, and glucose results.
• Assist with meal setup and feeding as needed.
• Communicate with nursing staff around patient care issues.
• Greet and direct Medical Staff, patients, and visitors.
