Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as Nursing Assistant or as a Nursing student currently enrolled in a formal program who has successfully completed at least one clinical rotation or is currently enrolled in and successfully completes the NWH Patient Care Assistant Training Program.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Perform non-clinical tasks such as receptionist duties and coordinating equipment.
• Provide transportation within the unit and support department operations.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary personnel to ensure safe patient care.
