The Valley Hospital-Paramus, part of Valley Health System, is seeking a patient care technician to support physicians and nurses by performing EKGs, finger sticks, phlebotomy, wound care and vital signs, and by assisting with patient transport and crutch fitting.

This role requires a high school diploma, CPR certification, and relevant clinical experience; night shift with benefits and competitive starting pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification.
• Current CMA/CNA/EMT or Valley-approved credentialing.
• Experience in phlebotomy/EKG with basic emergency care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to physicians and nurses per policy.
• Perform EKGs, finger sticks, phlebotomy, wound care and vital signs.
• Assist with crutch fitting, materials management and patient care tasks.
• Operate hospital equipment and support care across age groups.
