Job summary

AHN Heritage Valley Sewickley is seeking a Patient Care Associate I (Med/Surg) for day/evening shifts on-site. You will provide direct patient care under a nurse's direction, assisting with daily living activities and vital signs to ensure patient safety.

The role is full-time nights with weekends/holidays as required, and includes a $3,000 sign-on/retention bonus. Requirements include a high school diploma, strong bedside manner, and clearance completion within 90 days; nursing assistant

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; excellent bedside manner and customer service.
Successful completion of applicable clearances within 90 days of starting.
Nursing assistant program preferred; nursing student considered after first quarter.
BCLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Professional Nurse.
Assist with daily living activities, vital signs, safety, and basic procedures.
Support with EKG setup, glucometer, catheter care, and order transcription when indicated.
Collaborate with patients and healthcare team to ensure quality care.
