Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Patient Care Associate to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN. The role follows CDC infection-control guidelines and the hospital's plan for patient care and services.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent; Nurse Aide/Nurse Assistant program preferred, with CNA certification preferred upon hire for SNF units. BCLS and de-escalation training are required within orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Nurse Assistant/Aide program preferred.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred; CNA required upon hire for SNF unit.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification within 90 days of orientation; de-escalation training required by the end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care per predefined guidelines and plan of care.
• Work under supervision of RN or LPN, following infection control and care plans.
• Maintain professional conduct and adhere to SRHS policies and guidelines.
• Assist with patient comfort, safety, and daily activities as assigned.
