Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Associate for 2 Field East in New York, NY. The role is full-time on the night shift (11:00pm–7:00am) with weekend and holiday work to support patient comfort and safety.

Under supervision, you will perform advanced para-professional and technical functions, environmental duties, and nursing attendant tasks as needed, with no supervisory responsibility. On-site presence is required, and compensation aligns with hospital pay scales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association.
• 1 year of Nursing Attendant experience.
• Completion of an approved Patient Care Technician training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tasks and environmental duties on the unit.
• Serve as Nursing Attendant as needed to support patient safety and comfort.
• Work the Night Shift (11:00pm–7:00am) with weekend and holiday coverage.
