Formación

• High school education or equivalent with related medical office experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant medical office or clinical experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records and patient scheduling systems.
• Knowledge of medical billing/medical terminology.
• Certification options include CNA, CMA, EMT/EMT-P, or Phlebotomy.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and direct patients to appropriate areas.
• Record chief complaint and vital signs; perform routine tests and measurements.
• Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
• Order and schedule lab tests; manage results flow to providers and records.
• Prepare equipment and exam rooms; maintain cleanliness and supplies.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect payments; obtain authorizations as needed.
• Coordinate with insurance vendors for test and procedure authorizations.
