Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to work onsite at 75 Francis Street. You will support RNs with clinical tasks, monitor patient vitals, perform EKGs, and assist with glucometry while ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care and efficient unit operations.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, nursing assistant certification, and BLS/CPR. Bi-lingual ability and prior clinical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Nursing assistant certification required upon hire.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
• May not currently hold a valid nursing license.
• BLS/CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Support the RN with clinical tasks such as glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
• Respond to patient and family needs and maintain unit efficiency.
