Job summary

The Nursing Assistant will perform basic reception/clerical tasks, participate in maintaining a culture of safety, and stay current with BLS certification and hospital policies while delivering compassionate care to patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct/non-direct care to patients under the direct supervision of licensed personnel.
• Observe, obtain and report patient data/status to assigned RN.
• Respond to acuity and emergent situations as directed by nursing staff.
• Assist with safe patient transport and appropriate documentation of services rendered.
