Mass General Brigham is seeking an Nurse Assistant-like clinical support role to work under the guidance of a registered nurse. This position focuses on direct patient care, documentation, equipment setup, and safe handling of patients across shifts.

Typical duties include vital signs, EKGs, meal assistance, and collaboration with the nursing team to ensure compassionate care. 32-hour weekly schedule with 4x8-hour shifts, day shift on-site at 2014 Washington Street.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Aufgaben

• Perform patient care-related duties and clinical functions as assigned, including vital signs, EKGs, bathing, and assisting with ambulation.
• Assist RNs and physicians with exams and treatments as required.
• Ensure patient rooms are stocked, equipped, and cleaned.
• Document patient information such as height, weight, intake, outputs, and glucose results.
• Retrieve and set up equipment, and report malfunctions.
• Assist patients with food tray setup and eating.
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding patient care and condition.
• Receive and direct Medical Staff, personnel, patients, and visitors.
