Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a patient care assistant to support Newton-Wellesley Hospital in the 32-hour evening schedule (3x8hr shifts, 3p–11:30p) with rotating weekends/holidays. You will assist with daily living activities, take vital signs, and document in the EHR under licensed staff supervision.

Responsibilities include patient meals, room setup, equipment prep, and coordination with nurses. Lifting up to 35 lbs and strong customer service are required. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience in patient care 0–1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Document care in Electronic Health Records.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and 1:1 patient observation.
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and transport as needed.
• Support nursing staff during examinations and treatments.
