CommonSpirit Health's St. Luke's Health - The Woodlands Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to help patients with daily activities and support nursing staff with vital signs and room preparation.

You will perform tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and recording intake/output, daily weights, and glucose testing. CPR certification within 14 days of hire is required; a High School Diploma or GED is required at hire.

• CPR certification within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred: prior healthcare experience.

*Job Summary and Responsibilities*

As our Patient Care Assistant, you'll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.

Every day, you will directly support patients with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, while also assisting nursing staff with vital sign monitoring and preparing patient rooms.

Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better, whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals. You're diligent about your tasks, observant of patients' conditions improving or declining, and accept coaching well.

St. Luke's Health - The Woodlands Hospital is a 245 bed facility serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. *Pay Range*

$17.71 - $25.02 /hour
