Job summary

Qualifications

• Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, and bathing
• Responds to patients call lights promptly and communicates needs to the nurse
• Takes and records patient vital signs as prescribed by nursing protocol or physician order
• Performs clerical duties in EHR; answers phones and triages calls appropriately
• Maintains patient rooms, stocks supplies, and ensures equipment is operable and clean
• Records actions in the EHR and communicates changes to the nurse
