Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Patient Care Assistant in Minnesota. You will work under a Registered Nurse to assist with daily patient care, personal hygiene, and transportation of patients and equipment. You will also help set up rooms, stock supplies, and coordinate unit communications.

The role requires a high school diploma or CNA registry status and BLS certification. .7 FTE (28 hours/week) on night shift, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required or CNA on Minnesota Registry.
• Valid BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of patient care under RN supervision, including hygiene and daily activities.
• Transport patients and equipment, set up and maintain patient rooms, and stock supplies.
• Coordinate communications and procedures for the nursing unit, process electronic orders and assemble patient charts.

Work Schedule

.7 FTE (28 hours per week), night shift (11pm-7:30am). Required to work every other weekend and holiday.

Required Qualifications

• Must have one of the following:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• HS Diploma in progress and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
• Equivalent work experience in lieu of HS diploma or equivalent may be considered
• Valid BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA experience
• HUC or unit clerk experience
• Microsoft office experience
• Prior experience in acute care or hospital setting
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
