Job summary

ChristianaCare Hospitals in Aston and West Grove is seeking a PRN CNA to support nursing care during day shifts. Under RN supervision, you will perform advanced indirect and selected direct patient care, monitor vital signs, perform glucose checks and EKGs, and assist with meals, mobility and transport.

You will also handle data entry and keep patient rooms orderly. The position requires proper CNA certification, current BLS, and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Two years in acute care hospital as a Nursing Assistant or enrolled in nursing program (preferred in Oklahoma).
• Ability to understand written instructions and perform basic math; follow procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and lift for long periods.
• English fluency in written and verbal communication.
• Pennsylvania Act 33/Act 73 clearances completed or to be obtained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under RN direction.
• Deliver patient care and monitor vital signs, glucose checks, EKGs, intake/output; document records.
• Assist with meals, baths, mobility, transport, and housekeeping; data entry.
• Ensure safe care following policies within budget and resources.
