ChristianaCare seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT/CNA) to support daily living activities under the RN, including vital signs, bathing, grooming and mobilization. The role emphasizes safety, accurate recording, and collaboration with the nursing team in a Magnet-status system.

Responsibilities include patient monitoring, 1:1 observation when required, and effective communication with patients and staff. A high school diploma, CNA program, and current BLS are required, with acute care

Competenze

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program completed or nursing student with clinical hours.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Acute Care experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Delivers care per patient needs under RN supervision, including vital signs, bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility.
• Performs and records vital signs, Accu‑checks and finger sticks as required.
• Responds to patient crises and notifies RN as needed.
• Provides 1:1 observation for patients at risk as ordered.
• Maintains courteous communication with patients, staff and physicians.
