St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for the 4SE TCU Cardiac/Telemetry unit in Florence. This role supports daily patient care, collaborates with licensed staff, and helps maintain a safe environment for a 32-bed unit.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong customer service, and basic computer skills, with on-the-job training and orientation provided.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform vital signs.
• Knowledge of body mechanics.
• General computer skills and applications.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients/visitors and answer phones using Customer Service skills.
• Complete worklist tasks from physician orders or nurse tasks under supervision.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN or LPN direction.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment.
