Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System's Main Campus seeks a Patient Care Nurse Assistant for the Digestive Disease General Surgery unit. The role supports patients overnight in a high-acuity surgical setting, with a schedule of 7:00pm–7:30am.

Responsibilities include assisting with basic patient care under RN supervision, monitoring vital signs, aiding transfers, and reporting changes. A high school diploma and BLS are required; nursing students and HM/68W experience are considered valuable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required (or obtained during new hire period).
• Nursing students may qualify with BLS.
• Military HM/68W/4N0X1 experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision (vital signs, daily living activities, transfers, monitoring).
• Report abnormal findings to RN.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.
