Job summary

Allied Services seeks a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of the Unit Manager, Supervisor or delegate. The NA assists with activities of daily living and maintains a safe, clean environment for non-acutely ill patients.

Education: high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be 16+ and CPR certified or willing to obtain. Must pass CNA test during orientation and be able to float between units and locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be CPR certified or willing to become CPR certified.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills required for effective relationships with patients and staff.
• Must successfully pass Certified Nurse Aide test within orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment on the unit.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development appropriate to the patient age group.
