Job summary

Allied Services is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to support nursing staff under supervision, transport and prepare residents and equipment, and keep patient areas orderly and hygienic.

The role requires the knowledge to provide age-appropriate care, with rotation to other units as needed; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program completion and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program.
• Six months experience as a Nurse Aide in a geriatric setting preferred.
• CPR Certification required or must be obtained and maintained.
• Must be sixteen years of age or older.
• Must be cleared by PA State Police criminal history check.
• Must meet federal requirements for enrollment on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry within employment; OR within 120 days of employment, complete required Nurse Aide course and competency examination.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Must adhere to nursing policies and maintain confidentiality.
• Must be willing to rotate to other units as necessary.
