Job summary

Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL seeks a Patient Care Assistant for the Emergency Department. The role supports daily living activities, provides basic nursing care under RN supervision, and helps maintain a safe patient environment.

Required certifications include CNA (preferred), phlebotomy and EKG (preferred), with BLS within 30 days. Schedule is days, 7:00am–7:30pm, 3-12 hour shifts. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.

• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• CNA certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
