Job summary

Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Nursing Float team. This full-time day shift role supports daily living activities and basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN.

Ideal candidates will have CNA certification, BLS, and knowledge of medical terminology, plus 6 months of acute care experience. The successful candidate joins a dedicated unit committed to patient safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Schedule:Full time days, 6:45a - 7:15p, 3-12-hour shifts

Location:Aurora, IL, 60506

Responsibilities
