Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV is seeking qualified Patient Care Assistants for full-time, part-time, or casual as needed positions across several departments. You will support nursing staff by performing patient care activities and assisting with daily living tasks.

Responsibilities include cleaning, taking vital signs, obtaining lab specimens, charting, escorting patients, and coordinating with clerical duties and supply orders under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant degree or West Virginia CNA license or PCT Certification required.
• CPR within 90 days of employment.
• Glucoscan within 90 days of employment.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
