Job summary

BrightStar Care in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring compassionate caregivers for full-time 1st or 2nd shift positions with stable hours and meaningful, one-on-one care. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving or home health experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Physical exam and TB test within the past 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Clear drug screen and background check.
• Strong communication skills and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, hygiene).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands.
• Support client mobility and safety needs.
• Perform ROM and mobility exercises per care plan.
• Observe and report changes in condition to the nurse case manager.
