Job summary

BrightStar Care of Denton is seeking compassionate caregivers for part-time roles in Sherman, TX. Enjoy competitive pay, flexible shifts, and weeky direct-deposit pay while helping seniors with daily activities and companionship.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, and accompanying clients to appointments, with support from a dedicated team. A valid CPR cert and 6 months’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a caregiver.
• Valid CPR Certificate.
• Physical and negative TB skin test within the last 12 months.
• Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance with reliable vehicle.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.
• Negative drug screen and motor vehicle background screening.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers.
• Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.
• Assist with mobility tasks and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing.

• We offer flexible work schedules on a variety of home and facility assignments, procedures, and treatments
• Daytime, Night Shift and Weekend opportunities available, in-home and facility-based
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week
• Available 24/7 in the event of an emergency
