Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation’s Memorial 6 East unit seeks a Patient Care Tech to support the patient care team under RN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and basic tests per physician orders, ensuring compassionate care and safety for patients.

You will document care in Cerner, help with transfers, monitor patient needs, and respond to calls. AHA BLS certification and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• AHA Healthcare Provider Training is required (BLS).
• Adheres to the hospital attendance policy and will make every effort to consistently be punctual when reporting to work and during daily activities.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Help with activities of daily living (ambulation, feeding, hygiene).
• Collect specimens and perform basic tests as ordered.
• Document care in Cerner and report changes to the RN.
• Assist with transfers and transport of patients.
• Maintain safety and respond to call lights.
