Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with activities of daily living, collect specimens, and perform limited tests per physician orders in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, assisting with transfers and discharges, and maintaining Cerner documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required (AHA Healthcare Provider).
• Basic computer skills and comfort with electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Support direct caregivers under the direction of an RN.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient care tasks.
• Collect specimens and perform limited tests per physician orders.
• Document care in Cerner and maintain patient safety.
• Transport patients and assist with transfers and discharges as needed.
