Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team by performing direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

The role includes collecting specimens, performing limited tests per physician orders, and assisting with transfers, meals, and comfort needs while maintaining safety and compassionate patient interactions. Training in monitor transport and Cerner documentation is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider Training (BLS) required.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Collects specimens and performs routine tests as ordered.
• Performs EKGs, bladder scans, and catheter care under supervision.
• Documents care in Cerner and assists with patient transfers.
• Maintains safety and responds to patient needs and call lights.
