Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a dedicated team member to support patient care in our ambulatory surgical center network. The role includes assisting nursing staff with operating room turnover, safely transferring patients, making beds, stocking supplies and helping with patient care as needed.

Responsibilities also cover discharging patients via wheelchair and performing additional duties as assigned to maintain center operations. Requires a High School diploma and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers

Responsibilities

• Assists staff with operating room turnover
• Help transfer patients following proper procedures for lifting and moving patients
• Make beds and perform housekeeping duties in facility
• Restock and order supplies
• Assist with patient care as needed
• Discharge patients via wheelchair
• Other duties as assigned, based on the needs of the center
