Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and assistance to patients. Under the supervision of Registered Nurses, the Nursing Assistant will help patients re-establish activities of daily living and ensure effective communication and care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge and skills in patient care, remain flexible in staffing, and participate in staff development activities.

Responsabilités

• Collect data regarding patient care needs and response to nursing care provided.
• Review care plan with RN/LPN and identify potential changes.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care provided and report to primary RN/LPN.
• Demonstrate competency in selected psychomotor skills.
• Implement measures to meet patient/SO learning needs.
• Perform documentation duties accurately and timely.
• Demonstrate awareness of patients' rights.
• Handle emergency situations efficiently.
• Participate actively in staff development activities.
• Maintain effective communication with healthcare team members.
