Job summary

Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Long Term Care unit for full-time night shifts (6 p.m. – 6 a.m.).

Responsibilities include providing personal care under supervision, following the plan of care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support residents’ daily living activities. The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, direct resident care, and adherence to safety protocols, with an incentive plan available for night-shift

Responsibilities

• Collects data regarding resident care needs and response to nursing care provided.
• Reviews the care plan with RN/LPN and identifies potential changes.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided and reports to the primary RN/LPN.
• Demonstrates competency in selected psychomotor skills.
• Performs documentation duties in the resident record which is timely, accurate, and concise.
