Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Networks is seeking a Hospitality Aide to provide routine daily care and services to assigned patients in our facility in San Antonio, Texas. Experience as a Caregiver is preferred; a strong command of English is required.

You will promote independence, report observations, maintain a safe, clean environment, support staff, and participate in ongoing training. We are committed to a culture of respect and service, and we provide ongoing training in patient care, safety

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for patients.
• Contribute knowledge of patients' observations as required.
• Promote safe/clean environment.
• Ensure equipment, including mobile devices, are charged, clean and functional and report malfunctions.
• Attend in-service training programs and incorporate into patient care.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Abide by Cantex Continuing Care Networks policies on Abuse Prevention.
• Attend Patient Care Management Systems weekly in-service.
• Ensure patient/resident safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
