Job summary

Cantex in Groves, TX is seeking a Hospitality Aide to provide routine daily care and services to assigned patients, promoting independence and safety.

Experience as a Caregiver is preferred; English literacy is required. You will participate in in-service trainings, report equipment issues, and help maintain a clean, hazard-free environment while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence for patients.
• Contribute knowledge of patients' observations as required.
• Promote a safe/clean environment.
• Ensure equipment including mobile devices are charged, clean and functional and report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Attend in-service training programs.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Review Cantex Continuing Care Networks Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and know responsibilities to enforce it.
• Attend Patient Care Management Systems weekly in-service and incorporate into patient care delivery.
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
