Job summary

Cantex is hiring a Hospitality Aide to provide routine daily care and services to assigned patients on site in Texas. The role emphasizes promoting patient independence and ensuring a safe, clean environment, with training opportunities and ongoing in-service sessions.

Qualifications include caregiver experience (preferred) and proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. The job includes participation in in-service trainings and adherence to clinical policies on abuse prevention.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for patients.
• Contribute knowledge of Patients' observations as required.
• Promote safe/clean environment.
• Assure that equipment including mobile devices are charged, clean and functional always and report any malfunctions to supervisor.
• Attend in-service training programs.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Has reviewed Cantex Continuing Care Networks Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and knows the employee's responsibility to enforce it.
• Attend Patient Care Management Systems weekly in-service and incorporate into the delivery of patient care.
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
